Garage Door Installation & Replacement

When choosing a commercial garage door for your Fredericksburg-area business there are so many choices, and some are better than others for certain applications.  There are insulated, uninsulated, rolling steel, and aluminum full-view garage doors, with each type coming in variety of sizes and strengths.  In addition to selecting the door that is right for your business, it is important to review the hardware options (hinges, rollers, track, springs) so you get the most out of your new garage door.  Making sure the door is installed properly from the beginning is also a big part on how the door operates years down the road.  Knowing the environment where door is installed will help us decide the best hardware options that will eliminate premature maintenance repairs.

We also install the right commercial garage door opener to fit the application and demands for the environment.

Common Problems

A noisy garage door could be hinges or rollers that need to be lubed or it could be a more serious problem like worn out bearings, a misaligned door, or even not operating properly, just to name a few.  It is a good idea to catch small problems before they turn into bigger ones.

  • Broken Spring – When replacing springs, it is a good idea to replace both at the same time.  Never attempt to repair or replace these on your own!
  • Malfunctioning Safety Edge/Photo Eyes – Photo eyes could be misaligned or damaged. Safety/reversing edge could be damaged.
  • Damaged Panel
  • Broken/ Worn Out Hinges & Rollers – Can cause damage to door panels if not repaired.
  • Broken/Damaged Cables
  • Misaligned Door – Can cause premature wear on all of the door hardware.
